  • 3000 BC – Ancient Egyptians cleaned their teeth by rubbing them with twigs and leaves

  1. I consider myself to be a huge history buff and so I have studied a lot about Ancient Egypt. However, I never knew that they had some of the world’s first dentists or that they bound teeth using gold wiring. Yet, did they bind their teeth much differently than how we bind ours today with braces?

  2. Very interesting. I’m so glad to have today’s dentistry rather than hundreds/thousands of years ago. Man we have come a long way….And I though my anxiety was bad lol
