April is National Facial Protection Month. We want to be apart of the cause and help spread awareness about the importance of wearing a mouthguard when playing sports. Below is a short informational video that brings attention to some alarming statistics and will make an athletes think twice before stepping onto the field without this vital piece of equipment.
Dental experts from five major health organizations (listed below) urge that these statistics to be absorbed and shared with parents, coaches and athletes everywhere:
